The European Talent Support Network was established by the support of the European Council for High Ability, and currently has more than 300 participating organizations from more than 35 countries in Europe and in other continents. The Network has an interim representative, Lianne Hoogeveen, and a coordinator, Csilla Fuszek until 31 December 2016. After the 30th September 2016 (when the current round to apply for becoming a Talent Point or Associate Talent Point of the Network closes) participating organizations will elect a 5-membered Council to represent and increasingly self-organize the Network in 2017 and 2018. The Youth Platform of the Network was established after the first European Youth Summit, which was organized in the frame of the 15th International ECHA Conference in Vienna in March 2016. To make a similar structure for the Youth Platform of the Network, an interim representative and a deputy was elected who have mandates until 31st December 2016. After the completion of the Talent Point registration process in 30th September 2016 the election of a Council of the Youth Platform will take place by the end of the year.

Armin Fabian, representative of the Youth Platform. Armin Fabian was elected as the interim representative of the Youth Platform of the European Talent Support Network. Armin just completed his eleventh grade in Satu Mare, Romania. He finished his latest 3 school years with the highest possible ratings. This year he received the ‘’Magis Prize’’, which is the biggest award of his school, given only for 2 students from more than 350. A few months ago he was selected to participate in the Hungarian Templeton Program, which is a supportive and creative community formed to develop 315 exceptional cognitive talents (from more than 20.000 applicants). He represented the program at the European Parliament meeting in Brussels. He won two times in a row the national round of the “Academic Competition of Biblical Studies” organized by the Romanian State. He received several diplomas from the County and City Council, plus a gold medal from the mayor of his city. He took part at 9 literature competitions, getting 4 international first prizes, 2 national rewards and one special gift. His native language is Hungarian, but he speaks English and Romanian, plus has a knowledge of German, too. He took part at the European Youth Summit and the ECHA Conference in Vienna in March 2016, became the leader for one of the teams and had a short speech about racism. Lukas Kyzlik, deputy representative of the Youth Platform. Lukas Kyzlik lives in Prague, Czech Republic. He graduated from general grammar school Gymnázium Špitálská in 2016. He is a bachelor candidate at The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology. He works part-time as lector and creator of e-learning courses on electronics for gifted children at Intellectus since 2015. He is a member of the Talent Centre of the National Institute for Further Education since 2014. He took part in ASURO Robotics Course in 2014 and led student group conducting research on topic “Measurement of bodily functions using open-source electronics” in project T-Expedition 2015. He also took part in T-Study, a project allowing high school students to study selected university subjects, at Palacký University Olomouc in 2015-16. He is a member of Czech Student Union since 2016. He is interested in electronics & IT, mathematics, physics, gifted education, and politics.
